Birds on The Wire

The Texas Rangers are in Baltimore for a weekend set.

Significant because the Orioles have had a mini-revival to start the season, thanks to some young pitching.

The Rangers will see some of that.

Zach Britton is the Orioles' brightest pitching prospect having made his debut last week.

Jake Arrieta, TCU alum, allowed a lone run in six innings in his debut. He went 6-6 last year in his rookie campaign.
Then you get Jeremy Guthrie, who probably has 18 wins a year on a good team and was absolutely sterling in his season debute going eight scoreless.

Let us not take the Orioles lightly in Camden Yards.
